Beautiful Resort, let down by room decor and room facilities

The exterior of the resort and the gardens are beautiful. Loads of restaurants to choose from, food was of very good standard, especially at the seafood restaurant. Staff on the whole very friendly.

Rooms are dated. The finishing in the bathrooms and shower areas need addressing. Showers either too hot or cold - no in between. Brings the overall rating down significantly. Worth noting Sauna and Jaccuzi operates at different times for Men and Women only. This was not made clear from the outset. Men 9am to 3pm. Women 4pm - 10pm. Not ideal when you are checking in after 3pm. Some staff need training in handling phone calls in English, as they weren’t able to understand basic requests.

Okay for a short stay.

Hotel was huge and looked lovely, you need a buggy to travel to the restaurants and food was great. Lots of options for breakfast and food at restaurant was good. Location was good.

It didn’t have a 5 star service. Had to ask for something three times and it never came. Pool wasn’t heated so couldn’t use it and in house Spa was basic.

My room wasn’t clean when I checked in. The soap was used so I asked them to replace it (made me question if the room was cleaned before I checked in, even though I arrived +1 hour before check in time and they had me wait in the lobby till 2pm, so I expected it to be clean!) Room service was good though, once, I ordered a coffee and didn’t get it, when I called them the phone, it was busy.

It is pretty decent stay the complexe itself, and staff are so impressive, room luxury and internet

The staff is super responsive, helpful and very prompt with everything Lots of Green spaces and liked a lot having a 24hrs cafe/convenience store Cleaning level is impeccable

The room was super clean but was old and not well maintained material wise, it didn’t feel like a 5 stars hotel room, the wood on the desk stained, the walls have water damage The materials of bathroom are old and outdated. The shower design was just not functional, no way to take a shower without spilling so much water on the bathroom floor. The bathroom sink was often clogged! They came super fast to fix it but it kept clogging! Internet was intermittent and was down for a full day!

NICE, BUT NOT SO COMFORTABLE WHEN THERE ARE EVENTS, BANQUETS OR MARRIAGES

WONDERFUL GARDENS. NORMAL BREAKFAST, 5 RESTAURANTS WITH NORMAL CHOICE OF MEALS, ALTHOUGH WITH DIFFERENT PROPOSALS. GOOD COMFORT ROOM, COULD BE BETTER CLEAN (NEVER CLEANED THE TOILET WALLS?), IF YOU LIKE TV, NICE WIDE SCREEN AND IF YOU LIKE SPORT, TWO BEIN CHANNELS ARE AVAILABLE. IT IS WELL PROTECTED, NEAR THE ARMY, YOU CAN LIVE WITH NO NEED TO GO OUTSIDE. I STAYED FOR 5 NIGHTS, THE FIRST ROOM WAS NOT SO NICE, THE SECOND ROOM HAS BEEN RECENTLY RESTORED, NICE FURNISHING AND WITH PERFECT LIGHTING (NOT THE SWITCHES POSITIONED ONLY OVER THE BED...)

THE VILLAGE, BECAUSE IT IS NOT A SINGLE HOTEL (THERE IS ALMASAH 1 AND 2) IS MAINLY REASONED FOR BANQUETS, MARRIAGES, FEASTS, EVENTS. THIS MAKES THE MUSIC IS ALWAYS HIGH VOLUME AND TOO NOISY ESPECIALLY IN THE NIGHT, AT LEAST TILL MIDNIGHT WHEN THEY STOP IT. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING!

nice and cozy. rich and elegant.

the resort was huge, have their own map for it. have own cinema (that is also not small, capacity around 400) and other entertainment options. Alas, i was on business trip and had a bit tight schedule. if with family, more enjoyable with all of it, large gardens, swimming pool, bowling area, large cinema, 4d and other shows, etc. it was so huge, needs internal transport, after coming back of long day work....just kidding.

Most staff members were amazing.

Most staff members were amazing. Very professional and friendly and they went the extra mile to make my stay pleasant. The hotel is very safe and is in a nice location in Nasr City.

Guests are not allowed to have anyone in their room (male or female), even in a suite! I was in Cairo for the weekend to meet up with my girlfriends. I was upgraded to a nice suite with a living room. I could not have any of them over. I was extremely disappointed and highly surprised at this rule that makes no sense, especially that I'm also a female! I did get a daily 'exception' but it was still a hassle getting a call every day informing me that 'no guests were allowed' in the room. Also, no alcohol allowed on the premises. Finally, there was a government conference going on in the hotel. Security was a nightmare and the entire area was surrounded by police and army personnel..etc. and was almost impossible to get into the hotel while the conference was running.

Front office staff is not friendly Check in time is taking to much time Last year we were in the same hotel and we were very happy. That's why we came back here again. But at this time we were not happy from the reception service at the hotel because the reception staff did not smile and did not want to help and asked them to change the room because it does not have a good view. Overlooking the adaptive pipes, the receptionist's desk staff is not good. account staff is excellent and is helpful. Room Serves food and drinks in the room is excellent.

Hotel is clean and its has very good laundry service with very affordable prices. Gym is very good when you compare it to average hotel gym. Front desk service was also friendly and tacit. I can recommend the hotel if you are on business trip in Cairo.

No doubt, the best relaxation hotel in Cairo.

The hotel is set within beautifully maintained gardens and landscape, that takes you away from city bustle and pollution. The hotel compound has many restaurant and coffee, bowling, cinema, simulators and much more.

I can't find any, except maybe the tight security of the location, which is away make the place very safe.

The check in was too slow and they did not accept the rate I had as a frequent traveller via booking website until the hotel manager came and sorted it out. The room service was also slow and my room was not cleaned even though I put the tag on the room door. The TV signal went off from time to another.

I will not try it again. There are better hotels around.

The room was completely different from the one in the pictures. We were allocated a room near the offices in first floor. There were two mattresses on the bed which made sleeping very uncomfortable.
